In this class we will work on the tango walk
for close embrace. We will focus on technique for men and women, posture and comfort. No sequences will be
taught in the first part of the class, focusing 100% on walking.
In the second part of the
class we'll apply the walking technique to simple sequences of Tango Salon.
With this class we want to encourage people to
get interested in the tango walk and the pauses of the dance. We hope to help you experience the art and the
importance of connection with your partner. Enjoy the pleasure of the music!.
Another element of this class will be to
experience the difference between stepping with the heels and the toes of the foot. We'll investigate the
reasons behind which technique to use and the moments to use them.

This is a Tango Salon class for advanced tango dancers. We will work discovering old fashioned ways to perform the common steps of today. We'll be using salon sequences to refine our movements, allowing us to enjoy the dance without falling, pulling, or pushing our partner.
We'll study material left by master teachers Puppy Castello, Gerardo Portalea, Finito and Pepito Avellaneda and, in the process, understand why they were so recognized by the most famous tango dancers of our time

In this Tango Salon class we will work using
common sequences to refine the movements allowing us to enjoy the dance without falling, pulling, or pushing
our partner in order to execute the step.
We will also work using new movements to
investigate ways to alternatively finish a well known step.
